SARAH TALKINS

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Sarah was never too far from the beach, glorious mountains and and diverse architecture styles; think Spanish Revival and Craftsman. At a young age she began to work with her hands, painting and sculpting. Her creativity evolved as she attended Yeshiva University and its sister program at FIT, graduating with a BA in English Communications (Marketing).

Working in marketing upon her graduation, Sarah used both her creative and technical skills to help companies reach customers effectively. In 2019, Sarah started Better Call Bella, a fashion tech site that served as a peer to peer sharing platform for designer and vintage clothing. Over the years, Sarah worked on styling and editing photo shoots, digital design and social media.

In her personal life, Sarah was always designing and creating. In 2012, Sarah ventured on her first gut renovation project and designed all elements. In 2018 she worked on her next project, larger in scale and creative voice. She is presently working on a 1935 Spanish Revival renovation in Hollywood Lakes, Florida.

With all her projects, composition is the key element to successful design. A balance between modern and timeless, creating a unique space that spikes curiosity, is the goal.
